Privacy Policy

How we handle information on our website(s) and apps.

Effective date: January 1, 2024

Last updated: January 15, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to our website(s) and our mobile applications (together, the “Services”). Our website(s) are intended for adults (parents/guardians), while our apps are designed for parents and children to use together.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

You may provide information when you contact us (for example via a contact form or email), such as your name, email address, and message content. If you register for an account or respond to a survey (if offered), you may provide additional information such as a first and last name.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you use our Services, certain information may be collected automatically by our servers, our apps, and/or third‑party service providers used in the Services. This can include:

Device and technical data (e.g., IP address, device identifiers, device model, operating system/version, language and region settings, browser type).
Usage data (e.g., pages/screens viewed, features used, session duration, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and similar analytics).
App gameplay/learning progress (e.g., progress, time spent, achievements, and settings within the app).
Diagnostics (e.g., crash reports, performance logs, error logs).

For our website(s), a standard web host may also keep basic server logs (such as IP address and requested pages) for security and operational purposes.

2.3 Purchases and transactions

If you make an in‑app purchase, the transaction is processed by the platform provider (for example, Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive limited information needed to support the purchase (for example, purchase status and a transaction identifier).

2.4 Cookies and similar technologies (website)

Our website does not require cookies to function. If we add analytics, embedded content, or advertising in the future, those services may use cookies or similar technologies. Where required, we will provide appropriate disclosures and controls.

3. How we use information

To operate, maintain, and improve the Services (including gameplay/learning experiences and app stability).
To respond to your requests, questions, or support inquiries.
To understand usage trends and improve content and features (often via aggregated or de‑identified analytics).
To process and verify purchases, prevent fraud, and provide customer support related to purchases.
To protect the security and integrity of the Services and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in limited circumstances, such as:

Service providers who help us operate the Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support).
Platform providers (e.g., Apple and Google) to distribute apps and process purchases, and as required by their policies.
Legal requirements when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our rights, or protect users and the public.
Business transfers if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (information may be transferred as part of that transaction).

4.1 Third‑party services

Some apps and pages may integrate third‑party services (for example, analytics or game engine services). Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies. Depending on the specific app, examples may include:

The Services may also contain links to third‑party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third‑party sites.

5. Children’s privacy

Our apps are designed for families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We ask that children do not submit personal information through our Services. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Please note: third‑party services (such as analytics or platform providers) may automatically collect limited device/usage data in order to provide their services. Where required, we configure services to be as privacy‑friendly as reasonably possible for family audiences.

6. International transfers

If you use the Services from outside the country where our servers or service providers are located, your information may be processed and stored in other countries. We take reasonable steps to protect information in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Where deletion is not feasible (for example due to backups or technical limitations), we protect and limit the use of the data.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no internet or electronic transmission is ever fully secure, so please use care when sharing information with us.

9. Your choices and rights

Access/Correction: You may request access to or correction of personal information you have provided to us.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your account (if applicable) and associated personal information. Some information may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes.
Marketing: If we send marketing communications, you can opt out using the instructions in the message. Service/administrative messages may still be sent when necessary.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
